You may be seated.

Invocation

Welcome, loved ones. We are gathered here to celebrate two beautiful people and their love story.

But before we begin, you’re invited to pull out your cameras for a quick photo op of this gorgeous couple. This is your chance!

Wait 30 seconds.

It’s time now to enjoy the ceremony. The professional photographer will take it from here. Please ensure your phones are set to silent so we can savor this special moment.

The bride and groom wish to thank each of you for traveling from far and wide to join them here today.

We also remember our departed loved ones. They live on in our hearts and their love continues to be felt, especially in this moment.

Declaration of Intent

Jade and Scotty, you began as friends. With each passing year, your friendship blossomed into true and lasting love.

Today, you take that love and transform it with the commitments you make to each other now.

The rings you share are timeless and unique–symbols of your loyalty to one another. You come to this altar as two individuals with vibrant personalities. Your rings reflect who you are. But most important, they represent who you will become, together. Unified, strong, and whole.

Vow Exchange

Jade and Scotty, you have our love and support as you now share your vows. Please turn to each other and join hands.

Officiant hands the bride and groom their vow cards.

Scotty:

In you, Ive found more than a wife. I found a best friend. We have grown up together, just like our love. I remember exactly how I felt the summer we fell in love. Music changed for me, I really felt I understood the lyrics of our favorite songs. I started to see colors I’ve never seen. I felt constant butterflies. The nights were warm and it was just so exciting.

More than 5 years later, these feelings have only amplified. I have been lucky enough to see you blossom into such a strong, beautiful, confident, smart, and hard working woman.

Your patience and love, demonstrated time and time again, inspire me to be better and work harder every day.

You’ve been with me through the best and worst times of my life, I vow to never take your love for granted and cherish every moment we have together.

I promise to always seek adventures with you, to treasure the love and comfort of your companionship. I promise to always explore, learn, and try new things with you by my side. I promise to support you in your dreams until they become a reality, because your dreams are now mine.

You're the one I never tire of talking to, the person I can confide in, laugh and cry with.

With you, I have everything I need. You just make me happy. As long as I have you, it doesn’t matter where we are, as long we’re together.

Throughout my life, I have always kept things bottled up, but you have shown me how to open up and express myself. So I promise to always communicate openly and honestly.

I promise to be your rock, your listening ear, and your best friend. I promise to be your equal in every way, and to always treat you with the love and respect you deserve.

You are my dream that’s turning into reality. I am truly honored to call you my wife.

I love you forever, and ever after that.

Jade:

The first time I saw you, we were only 13 years old at a football game with our friends. I couldn’t take my eyes off you. I thought you were the cutest boy I had ever seen. Oh, how badly I wanted to get to know you better.

A few years later, on the first day of high school, you walked through the door and I made a very, very important promise to myself. I would do anything in my power to kiss you. From that moment forward our lives changed forever.

Since I have known you, the world is so much more vibrant, alive, and thrilling. The flowers are more breathtaking, the music sounds so dreamy, the food tastes better, and my laughter has never been so wild and filled with the purest form of bliss.

Scotty Sargent, you are so many wonderful things. You are patient. I saw this side of you from the very start. But when I really saw it shine, was when your sweet mom, Ingela, passed away last year. You helped care for her until the end, and without hesitation you made sure she felt important, loved and gave her so much grace. You said that to help her was one of the greatest honors of your life, and how lucky you were to have given back when she had been such a great mom to you. Scotty, how do I even express my love and admiration of you?

Along with being patient, you are incredibly loyal. With your closest loved ones, you are fiercely dedicated and reliable. I am sure many people here today can attest to your ability of trustworthiness, consistency and care. There is no doubt in my mind that we will make a strong team, because I know you will always be someone I can rely on through all walks of life.

Ring Exchange

We will now exchange wedding rings.

Scotty:

I give you this ring as a sign of our love and commitment to each other. I promise to support you, care for you, and stand alongside you for all of our days.

Jade:

Jade and Scotty, I now pronounce you husband and wife.

Officiant steps aside.
